Unfortunately not; yet I have a Question about Nembrini & their iLock - Licensing, as I own an older #freebie from them called 'LofiClipper' which is actually pretty good. The thing that bothers me, or I never figured out; is to use it without a Cloudsession or physical iLock-device... is this also possible to activate on a Machine/Computer via the iLockmanager/online Thing? Hope that makes sense; maybe its not even possible at all. tnx

If you can open a Cloud session, I believe it's a simple as dragging the cloud auth directly to your physical iLok.

Yepp, I kind of got that far & tried to activate a machine ID but then it somehow only works via cloud-session or asks for a Dongle. Did you manage your PSA1000 to activate via machine ID? Could be a user fault from my side somehow, not sure; yet also the only one I have this prob with.

I've not tried it - I just use the physical dongle. Best bet is just to email Nembrini.

I do recall it trying to go straight to cloud authentication at first so there might be something up with the way the licence works or a problem in iLok Manager with the Nembrini plugins.

No, I would like a Machine ID activation, like the rest in my iLock - manager (who all work just fine) as I dont have or use a physical dongle & also dont want to be online all the time via cloud session etc. - so a Machine ID activation which stays activated, which right now, needs a re-activation every time I start a new session or reboot. This somehow seems odd, or not?

This seems to be something different; there is an activated Machine ID & a cloud session, the cs works while online, if I close it, it requires me a new activation for the whole plug, then I can get to the window where my Machine ID shows up but cannot choose it for Activation, or lets say the last 'next' after that then leads me to a last msg 'This plugin can only be activated to an iLock - dongle. This might already be the answer to my confusion; but I have mailed them just to be sure & will post the Answer in here. A bit confusing at least, to say.

OK, solved!

User fault, as usual; the current vers.1.04 is needed for Machine ID - Activation, the vers.before that showed the Machine ID icon in iLock & while trying to activate the Plug but was non functional at that time. Got the tip from good old GS while some people there had the same Prob with the plug.

With that said, totally worth the hassle, as it is a very unique dist/sat. plug with some unique flavor to it. Minor settings work best imo. thanks everyone & hope people having the same issue, will find this!

Has anyone tried the phrase builder in Rast Sound's Indian Rhythms or Mideast Rhythms (sale ending in a few hours)? How much can you edit the phrases? It's hard to tell from the video. And I guess "time sync" means it will automatically sync to the tempo of your DAW? Or are they time synced to each other?

Yup, I wonder how they fail to see that though. If they would just lower all their prices and do occasional sales I suppose it would be a lot better for business since people are less unsure whether they're paying too much. Serum sells because people know it won't get a discount, but we'll. Got to live with it I guess

That's a highly subjective question...

When these were first released I was excited to purchase them because it was what I used in ProTools. I actually didn't end up purchasing them because I have so many tools that do something similar and most of us all do.

This would be like if Ableton, Logic, or Cubase made all their native tools available to purchase as a VST/AU/AAX plugin bundle... Chances are that there are some gems to get you something just slightly different, but you still have all the extra stuff you probably will never use.

Now I see they do have addition effects not included in Pro Tools.

IMO, Its a great value if you don't have something like it and a great value if you've moved on from Pro Tools, but miss your old workflow. Otherwise I honestly don't seen any major standouts where another 3rd party company doesn't have something better.
