Why you left Project 5?

Project 5 was one of the DAW's I really liked. I still think it was a stupid decision from Cakewalk to discontinue that program. In my humble opinion this program could have been a winner. But well - That's how things go.

I now use Bitwig in stead, and in my humble opinion it's a good replacement.

TBH, I preferred Project 4. It was more legendary than version 5.

Its more that Project 5 left me.

Same here the lack of development did not help at all. Still a great application for music making but it was left to die really.

I think in the end of the day Cakewalk could not decide the best path for it and incorporated some features from it into Sonar.

So much promise.

I kept it around and used it occasionally when I was still on a PC, but those days are over now.

I really miss the old P5 forum. So many cool and talented people there. Good days.
