I've been wracking my brain for 2 days trying to figure this out...
It's a workaround for Pro Tools mono SideChain input limitation. Seems possible.
I want to use FabFilter Pro - L 2 sidechain for stem mastering. I am using Source Nexus to "send" my Mix bus into PatchWork on my VO bus for example. I can get it on 3/4, but I can't seem to get that 3/4 into FabFilter's 3/4 (I am guessing this is it's sidechain input?). I've tried combinations of using PatchWork Synth version vs Effect version. I have tried VST vs VST3 versions of Fabfilter's Pro - L 2. I've even tried putting another Patchwork in between Source Nexus (my mix send) and Pro - L 2 in Patchwork and so I can see the meters of 1/2 and 3/4 do indeed have the correct audio, it's just not hitting FabFilter's Pro L 2 sidechain input.
Some screen shots below to help show my signal path although I've tried almost every combination..
Patchwork for Stereo Side chain input Pro Tools?

Your configuration and signal path looks right here... Have you asked FabFilter about this? By the way, which plug-in format are you using for the Fabfilter plug-in (VST vs VST3 vs AU)? have you tried another one?
