Dont know about Linux but there are no options on MacOS Catalina. If you're on Mojave or previous it should be possible.izonin wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2020 9:02 am May I summarize a few ways to use this synth in Windows 7/8/10 64-bit:
1. Host this plugin in a 32-bit capable 64-bit DAW
Reaper
FLStudio
Bitwig
Mixcraft
....
2. Bridge the synth in any DAW via jBridge
3. Use any free or commercial 32-bit DAW
There might even exist some options to use the synth in Linux and MacOS.

450 plugins. Those are rookie numbers.Teksonik wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:48 pm I have over 450 plugins on my studio computer but not one of them is 32 bit.
Intregued by the price vs capability of this synth but can't justify the price for a plugin that won't work in my DAW.

1. No option when you want to work in the DAW of your choice.izonin wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2020 9:02 am May I summarize a few ways to use this synth in Windows 7/8/10 64-bit:

2. Yes, that's an option. As I mentioned, though, it will use a extra layer which uses CPU where you probably don't want to use CPU.
3. Again, no option if you want work in the DAW of your choice.
Regarding Linux or Mac OS: Not every VST works in Linux, and, again, it will require extra layers to wrap for compatibility. Mac OS X might not be an option either, at least not the latest Mac OS X, which won't run any 32-bit code, thus, even with a wrapper, Genesis Pro won't work on it.
Again, though, I don't feel like a need to continue this discussion. The dev has stated the reasons, and, I accept it. The only thing I want to say is that I can't run this thing, and, in 2020, I feel like it unnecessarily limits the target audience. I'm sure Ummet is aware of all that, so, it's cool.

Are there any other options for bridgeless DAWs than Jbridge?

Ditto.Teksonik wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:48 pmPerhaps they are so intrigued by the concept of Genesis Pro they want it to be updated to modern specs and if they are Mac users want to use the plugin as well.overhishead wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2020 12:31 pm If somebody is looking for a VSTi and it needs to be 64 bit in order to use it, then why are they in here complaining that this plugin is 32 bit and putting Oz down? Not very logical of these plugin experts.
No one who has paid attention to the whole thread is "putting Oz down". A few people who don't know the back story are spouting off but I wouldn't worry about them. I'd say people's interest is more of a compliment to the concept of Genesis Pro than an insult. If the plugin didn't intrigue people they wouldn't be showing any interest at all and it would simply be lumped in with all the other 32 bit Synth Edit plugins of which there are hundreds if not thousands.
The fact that given the specs it's generating any interest at all is a huge compliment to Ummet Ozcan's vision and design concept for Genesis Pro. I have over 450 plugins on my studio computer but not one of them is 32 bit. However I'll buy Genesis Pro just because it intrigues me but that doesn't stop me from wishing it was native coded to modern specs. That's not an insult to Ummet it's just just expressing sadness that he couldn't have worked with a developer to release GP as a native plugin without the need for SE and that could be enjoyed by all including Mac users....![]()

Though my DAW of choice is mainly Reason, there is no such thing as using a single DAW for EVERYTHING that you want to accomplish.Reason doesn't export in MP3...so I ended up buying Studio One and it has been very useful for easily mastering and effects.I then wanted a DAW that supports video,so I also bought Mixcraft.chk071 wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2020 1:55 pm1. Mixcraft is my favorite workstation,as it is an absolutely amazing DAW and the staff behind Acoustica are top-notch people.
It's a rock-solid DAW with flawless built-in j-bridging,it's very intuitive, very CPU-friendly and has no iLok or any invasive licensing bullsh*t.
Best of all,it's very reasonablt priced and if you are really strapped for cash,Acoustica even has its own installment payment plans.
I recommend Mixcraft to anyone & everyone...as I believe anybody can benefit from Mixcraft ti some way.
All that being said,if the concept of using any other DAW besides the only one you have, then don't buy Genesis Pro....I mean...it's not all that important for you to add Genesis Pro to your arsenal...is it??
Consider this...if the Genesis Pro does well enough in terms of sales(which is almost certainly will do amazingly well)...thn the developer will almost certainly release a 64 bit version.
If you cannot wait for a 64 bit version, then simply relent & consider adding another DAW(namely Mixcraft,as I promise it will not be any detriment to your computer's CPU(I can attest to this,as one of my PC's is very modest(only a dual core with 4GB of RAM.)

It should fun fine in FL Studio:
FL Studio 64 Bit features
Access up to 512 GB RAM and 8 TB virtual address space, depending on your Windows version.
32 Bit bridged and 64 Bit native VST plugin support.
Two-way project compatibility between 32 and 64 Bit versions.
FL Studio available as a 64 Bit VST plugin for use in 64 Bit VST hosts.

I also checked with the dev (@getdunne) of Unify to see if that is an option.
His response:
"A customer recently asked if Ummet Ozcan's forthcoming Genesis Pro synth will run in Unify.
"First off, no one can answer this definitively, because Genesis Pro isn't available yet.
"However, the latest available information (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=535754&start=300) is that Genesis Pro is a 32-bit-only, Windows-only synth made with SynthEdit, and those generally run fine using jBridge.
"My only concern will be the 3D graphics for the vowel-filter visualization. Complex graphics are a point of weakness for bridging, so all I can say is: we have to wait and see."

No worries, I'm already working on a solution. It will be controller with built in PC with Win XP and Cakewalk Project 5 already preloaded so you can immediately start pumping out those tunes. Estimated price currently 900$, so will be a no-brainer especially as you save a lot of money on plugin.

Can‘t wait for March 12. Until then I continue with Zebra 2.9, Dune 3, Omnisphere, Pigments, Avenger, Aparillo and Hive 2. Without Genesis Pro it just could get a little Sylenth
