Hi!
how can I apply several multi-parameters to a target parameter without overwriting the value of the target parameter when moving, but adding and multiplying them (like with per voice modulation)?
An example would be two peak filters with gain correction.
When I increase one peak filter, gain is reduced.
If I increase the second peak filter, gain is also reduced.
I could add two utilities and control gain separately, but there are other examples.
With per voice parameter it's also possible by modulating a "constant"-mod, but I want to operate the others (without per voice mod).
Is there something I'm missing or isn't it possible?
Multiple multiparameter for one parameter: add + multiply mode instead of overwrite?

Hi! You can't directly. But you can access the ranges for example. Tutorial:

Hm, ok for multiplying I can simply modulate the max value. Okay.
With "add" it gets more complicated:
- You create a dummy (invisible multiparameter) that modulates the target
- You create another dummy that modulates the range of the other dummy. Min and Max simultaneously.
- Depending on the number of dummies you create more dummies that modulate the range of the previous dummy
- Calculate the whole thing until it fits (requires some time)
Requires already brain lard (so we say here
), much calculation (especially with different values) and additional MP.
Isn't it possible to add an "Add" and "Mul" mode for multiparameter and mods like the per voice mods? Like with other VST synthesizers? So especially the add mode is missing.
Yes, it would be useful for the mods, too. No per voice ENV+LFO+LFO?
It's definitely one thing I'll always miss.

Well, that's rather difficult to manage, it would need some "temp" MP as well and I'm not exactly sure how to deal with that. I thought about some "expression" MP, which would basically calculate its value based on other MPs or something. But you know, dev time...
Anyways adding seems simple too - just use the interval mode "full range" and control the minimum.
