This look awful purty. Maybe after I sell my Taylor and a Bigsby Casino...

It does, However inexpensive ibbys are wrought with inferior hardware. (as are many) If when you buy consider purchasing a better tailpiece / bridge and possibly tuners, pups.
It's not just ibby's Though I love my Dangelico EXL- Premier I curse it each time I tune and I'm always thinking how much nicer it would sound with a full size floating humbucker like a Johnny Smith over the mini I have currently installed.
Oh, yeah. Get ready for a fret polishing and dressing.

Fret polishing and dressing gets done on most of my guitars. I had an AS103NT, their top of the line Artcore at that time. It played very well without any work, but I didn't like it through sims. The pups are bright, but through the right amp, sounded excellent. I sold it to put towards one of my other guitars, forget which. I also had a lower end model, and after a setup, played perfectly. Again, sold.
What I'd really like is a Yamaha SA2200, but that ain't gonna happen.

Ovation Celebrity CC165 12 String for $330. How does that sound? Seems fair as it's nice to play and sound pretty sweet. Never thought I'd own an Ovation, round back seems like a stupid idea to me but here I am, an Ovation owner and it seems like a pretty good instrument. Wide neck and a bit of adjustment to get used to playing it but I think it will be worth it for the luscious sound it produces.

I picked up a Yamaha Studio Lord 550S for $300. The tone was brittle so I swapped the pickup magnets for Alnico 8’s, now it sounds massive. Highly recommended if you come across one but I think only the 550S, 450S, and Lord Players have the nice headstocks.

Out of love for mankind I've launched a new stimulus investment in the UK economy.
Boris made the pound go pop, at €222 (shipping included) I could no longer resist this tall lady's charms:

Quite recently she would have cost over €250. Thanks for making the Euro great again, Boris!
And, as luck will have it, today I was notified the Revelation SG-type guitar I ordered last year should arrive tuesday (the very same day I'm expecting the baritone).
I suppose I should put both in quarantine for 9 days or so, but that would be hard.
Also getting strings and a few cheap guitar cases from Muziker (they sent me a voucher).

According to the shop, Revelation will no longer build SG-type guitars, having been told off by Gibson (you know, that lawsuit company with a side line of overpriced guitars).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is a baritone rather than bass, looking at the default tuning and fitted strings. A baritone VI?
Thanks donks.

Strings are thinner (mine is 24-90, rather than 14-68 as this is), but it's still tuned the same so you could play it as a twangy bass or a low baritone guitar. I was looking at getting one of these as well at some point, so will be interested how you find it. You'll definitely write stuff on it that you'd never think of on either a bass or a standard guitar. Love it!

These newbies have got to start somewhere. It's a bit like yer martial arts - you have to work up to Fiesta Red in this case.

That festive finish will be applied by means of lip service.
