Roli Block Lightpad for plugins?

Is anyone using the Roli Block Lightpads for controlling U-he plugins?

I was thinking of getting 4 to control all 4 XY pads for Hive and Zebra. For the other plugins I would map the common parameters like Filter, decay, etc.

Any experience with them? They seem to be more expressive compared knobs.

I'm wondering if the light of the Lightpads updates it's position e.g. if I change presets or automate. I want it to be bi-directional. I also don't want to configure it all each time I create a new Ableton Live project. Is this all possible?

i mean, it works fine
you need to learn X/Y for a pad, then it works flawlessly.
lightpad doesn't have a "light" for the current position tho. it's a pad, so it just jumps to where you press it next. so switching presets doesnt change a thing

I mean the light (tracker of the finger) on the pad fades out after pressing
You can also assign the third (depth) parameter to something else, each press has x/y and “depth” of press.
You could easily assign 4 of them to all zebra x/y pads!
