Anyway, the sound of the Smasher is very stingy as I thought it would be. Stingy and brings up the ambience, which is just what one wants for parallel smash, so for me it worked really fine. Already used it to give great character to 4bit DAC FM drums

When you hit the download button you get a code.
Not me I just get the download

Out of curiosity, is it better/similar than the Ik Multimedia one ?
This one is a 240Mo download requiring Ilok, so i'm wondering, sound-wise (and "hassle-free" wise) if it is a very interesting plugin, or if any other vst could get in the same ballpark ?

It doesnt need the dongle. I dont have it. It works. I have ilok computer/cloud.

Just to answer these last posts about iLok.
We are now supporting iLok machine activation.
So no need to be connected to the internet, and no need to have an iLok.

Nice analogy about the restaurant, I will reuse it for sure !

It's essentially a more aggressive version of the "All" mode on the IK one (or any other 1176 emulation for that matter) so definitely nice to have. It's a big download because it comes with separate versions for all major formats (VST2, VST3, AAX, in 64 and 32-bit versions) plus it also comes with the PACE iLok drivers bundled for some reason (even though you can just download them yourself from Pace). The actual plugin is ~20 MB.
