Yeah I think unfortunately if you didn't jump on the $19 crossgrade offer back in February of last year, you have to re-buy the whole thing from PA...
I guess you could always email PA and Dmitry to see if they can do something about the price...

Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

AH, wow... well, good for Dmitry! He deserves success very much and I wish him all the very best. If I could, I completely would just buy it to support him. Maybe someday soon.
Thanks for the info, AF! (Woops,
, I mean: AdvancedFollower, of course!)

Afair you can contact him and he may send you the cross-grade voucher. Read back in this thread, somewhere this was mentioned already.
He's a very nice guy, and I think you'll find a solution to not have to re-buy it.
Edit: just use the contact form here, also mentioned to contact them in case of upgrading to PA version: https://dmitrysches.com/thorn-pa

Thorn would be great if it was optimized. If that is possible?
Other Dmitry Synths and effects all come at a very high cpu cost in my experience.
Freezing things helps but it kills the flow.
If Moore's law held any truth it wouldn't be a problem.
But Moore's law is a broken theory.

I was waiting for the Thorn improvements to materialise before getting it.Tj Shredder wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 5:57 amI missed it too, but only for the reason that I do have the 1.0 version and don’t need an update yet and did not find anything in the PA catalog which I would actually use...
Sounds like you should also have one of those codes as an owner of 1.0. Maybe worth a try to find your old code?

Really? I've never taken much notice but it doesn't seem like a CPU hog to me. I used to run it on a 4th Gen Core i5 and even then I didn't notice it using too much CPU.Kian Russell wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:24 pmThorn would be great if it was optimized. If that is possible?
