I'm interested in getting Steinberg Absolute at some point. With the current deal on Halion and Groove Agent it seems the (full) upgrade price is £300 from either product. With Groove Agent £30 cheaper it would seem to make sense to buy just that for now, but can anyone tell me do upgrades to Absolute go on sale or is it only the full product?

It does but the vouchers take so much away from the original price that when final VAT is calculated from what's left it isn't much.

Absolute 4, including upgrades/updates and crossgrades, was offered with a 50% discount for Black Friday 2019.

I think the cheapest way to get Absolute is still buying the full version outright when it is on sale, instead of getting a crossgrade from Groove Agent.

Cheers for the info and you're right of course, it was just GAS. I can definitely wait. I could have bought Absolute in the last BF sales, but I didn't twig you no longer need a hardware dongle and that has always been a dealbreaker for me.
Thankfully I got a new toy today for free because they've added MIDI out to Reason Rack so that'll keep me occupied and away from the online shops

It's the lowest you will get. Get it from AudioDeluxe if you are interested and earn some deluxe bucks.

Great collection at that price, and it is something that has prevented me from getting the (overwhelming) Vintage Vault 3.
