Hi guys. How is it going.

In these brave seas of daws, i see some weird things.

Waveform costs just 119 dollars, it has some really great features and they made their software to musicians (most important thing). It has great composing features and i love them for that.

I only want a better piano roll (like FL's) but...

I don't know why they has so few users. Its a very affordable daw, a complete pack of resources.

Marketing? Features? Why? :(

Waveform has features that are more advanced and cutting edge than a lot of the big names. The lack of attention is a good thing if you ask me. Once a DAW starts getting more exposure you get people crying on the forums that it isn't like some other DAW and when will we have this and can we please have this blah blah blah. It is already starting to happen to Bitwig.

Let's just leave it our secret for now.

Probably marketing budget, business strategy, and position in the industry. Tracktion's been around for a while, but it was purchased by Roli and relegated to OEM duty for a while. From what I've heard the quality went down during that era. Effectively they've had to start over from W7 or W8. I think they know what they want out of WF and they're not trying to overextend.
Linux version?

Purchased by Mackie (not Roli). They did version 3 and then abandoned it. Then sold it and Tracktion Software was created and bought it. Being left for dead for 5+ years didn't help it.
