I bought the licenses for mulab and mux yesterday and am waiting for my personalized key.

First of all I have to say that I find mulab very great and mux very inspiring.
Thanks for this great job. :tu:  In my opinion, mulab and mux are very mature + inspiring and do not have to hide behind "the big market leaders"

My question would be is it possible to simply take over the VST folder structure of my hard drive. Problem I have hundreds of plugins which I have sorted by manufacturer or category, so I can quickly find what I need.

The way I understand it at mulab, would I have to reorganize them all?

I used to work a lot with Ableton Live, where the plug-in browser takes over the folder structure of the hard drive.
Is it possible to implement this in mulab too?

I would be very happy to receive an answer.
Greetings Dirk

Thanks!
Please also tell others about MuLab & MUX Modular Plug-In so they get more known.

With MuLab's VST Plug-in Manager, you can categorize VST plugins. Each plugin can be in multiple categories (eg "Reverbs", "EQ", "FM Synths", ...) and when you choose a new plugin for your music project then the plugin list groups the plugins per category. Directly using the VST folder structure is not supported atm, sorry.

Hello and thanks for the quick reply.
And yes, I will advertise mux and mulab in my environment.
I have lot´s of fun with mulab and mux!
As I mentioned before, I worked with Ableton before, I don't like the company policy and I don't like the Daw anymore.

To my question about the folder structure ... I have almost found a nearly direct way to access my folder structure on the hard drive:
If I add a new instrument rack to the left using "+" and select the Vst point, I have to go all the way down scroll past my Vst's and then the folder "Browse For VST Plug-In ..." appears.
This gives me access to the folder structure of my PC and directly to my plug-in folders and thus has my usual structure.

It works similarly when I insert a VST over a rack. If I have selected the item VST, I have to close the folder Synth and Effect VST, then I see the folder "Browse For VST Plug-In ..."
Browse for Vst Plugin 2.png
Browse for VST 3.png
If it were possible to arrange the folder structure in a Mulab update so that " Browse For VST Plug-In ... "is listed at the top, the path to your/ my own folder structure would be even shorter.

I think that most musicians have already pre-sorted their Vst's in a way that is meaningful for them on their PC or laptop.

I know the "Browse For VST Plug-In ..." function is actually there for inserting new plugins, but if all of them are already installed, you can simply select a VST ...

Best regards Dirk

Ps: And now I'm trying to build something with mux ... 8)
