Hi Rico. When I double press stop quickly the pattern on the drum computer goes back to when you first loaded it.IE if when you load the pattern and its say a kick beat on 1,7,11,16 etc and then you change it to a four on the floor beat. Double press stop on akai and it jumps back to the original 1,7,11,16 etc. This change affects all 8 channels .seems the akai is sending some type of cc reset code/time code reset to the drum computer.im racking my brains here to why it would do this .

It's like the first time you.save it remembers all the beat parameters .when you overwrite it and save .load it again play it back it's ok double press stop and it jumps to the first time saved parameters

its amazing! do you wanna try to find out what data the mpc is actually sending?
to me it looks like UNDO is triggered?
but we have no secret easter egg like this, where some midi command would trigger an undo or program change.
did you create a midi programs folder for drumcomputer? if there is none, presets cannot be called.
I will talk back to the team tomorrow.
it will help if you find out which data is sent upon your double click.
best rico

Yes these are my own patches started from init patch. From what I've read the only thing double stop does is go to the start of the sequencr I think it's due to when you overwrite over the same patch file name a number of times and for some reason the midi sequence isnt overwritten properly

Post

Ps also of note when I overwrite a patch with the same filename there is no "warning you are about to overwrite a file...click yes or cancel" that windows typically gives you

Also of note changing the tempo also makes this happen .when I load a fresh instance of drum computer this never happens only after a patch overwrite .the pattern on the sequencer it jumps to without changing the sounds looks like a copy of the default patch albeit with the sounds in your own patch
