Physical modeling but also audio rate modulation work nicely with MPE.
You will get that organic feel in the sound of the instrument.
Brian is on the right track with his Plasmonic. Thus I also backed it.

Yes, that would be great.Echoes in the Attic wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:19 pm
Nice. Audio input would be awesome. Or a separate FX version as many VSTs do.

Thanks.
I will not bother Brian for a special price.
I was waiting for the typical
"here is your last chance to get PLASMONIC for €100.
Sale ends in 72 hours."
Perhaps it is for the best that I missed this opportunity.

To soothe the anxiety of the fan club and and have them look to the future with optimism,
it would be great if Rhizomatic offered the Plasmonic intro price again.

This is great, I waited just a day too long on the pre launch offer. I'm pretty certain this is going to be used at Zebra an Absynth level for me.zerocrossing wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 2:15 pmI did contact Brian and he did mention that there will also be a special launch price available after launch.Kalamata Kid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 1:21 am To soothe the anxiety of the fan club and and have them look to the future with optimism,

new official infos about Plasmonic:
Plasmonic keeps getting better
There are 3 new filter modes: lowpass + highpass in parallel, lowpass + highpass in series, and a 3 pole lowpass ladder. All filters are self-oscillating.
The LP + HP parallel makes a very cool notch filter with 2 resonant peaks at the edges of the cutoff zone. The LP + HP series makes an interesting bandpass with peaks at the edges. Both filters can produce vowel like resonances, and they have quickly become favorites of mine.
The Sympathetic effect I talked about previously has turned out really nice. It’s a sound I’ve wanted to get for years.
Delay interpolation has been improved (there are a lot of delays in Plasmonic) which makes everything sound better. New modulator stuff. Many other changes and improvements… I’m very happy with the way it’s turning out.
Regarding Covid19, there have been delays due to the lockdown (nobody is sick in our house fortunately). So it’s possible that release will be delayed a bit, but not by much. I’m still working hard to get Plasmonic out to the world ASAP.
Thanks again for your support! I hope you and your families are doing ok during these strange times.
