Hi folks,

next update is here ;). 14.04 is an important update. It comes with several improvements, features and fixes. It is recommended to install this update. To do that, get the newest version from MeldaProduction download page and use it.

Additionally MCharmVerb, a beautiful lush reverb based on the MTurboReverb engine, has been released for FREE as a gift for your continued support through all these years.

Fantastic news in MSoundFactory:) :
-Sampler now imports metadata from WAV files, including loop range, root/min/max key, min/max velocity...
- Improved "Convert to looped" feature in Sampler module and added "Spectrum freeze" feature to it.

Great! Thank you for importing loop marker from wave files!
Many new instruments have really been added!
I don't hear any difference with "Spectrum freeze", can you explain what it is?
"Improved the timbre and pitchbend transformation system" - Haven't figured out what changed, where exactly?
The new X-Y pads are very nice!
The new Charm Reverb is nice and so easy!
Thank you!

My pleasure folks!

Faiky: Spectrum freeze undoes any timbre change by analyzing the spectrum in the beginning of the loop and making it constant. Check the "Monastery Grand" (if you are in the beta list), it uses it in the creative version. Timbre/pitchbend uses 0-100 curves now, just to make everything work nicely if these are bipolar (which they are by default).

Doesn't seem to work somehow, it sounds like a normal crossfade, or I must have missed something. Hm.

Okay, i have a screen capture now. Here you can see, there is no diffrence, with spectrum freeze and without:

Or did I forget something? Thank you in advance!

Actually what you are processing is probably not useful for this feature at all. Think of a piano - when you play a note, it decays not only in volume, but also in spectrum (high frequencies are dying faster than lower ones). So you cannot normally loop this, because even if you compensate the level (which the "convert to looped" does), the ending and beginning spectrum will be different, so there will be an abrupt change. This feature mitigates that.

I get what it should do, but it's not working.

Are you trying to overtake Firefox with your version numbering scheme? FYI Firefox already is at V73.0.1
