K+S is basically comb filters, yeah (short tuned delay lines excited by bursts of noise or impulses or whatever).

My favorite part of Zebra.

Hm, I have to play with it more in Zebra then. I remember feeding random crap when i did basic KS in Max couple of years ago and it was fun af to play with it

(the by far bigger issue is UI speed... as people get larger displays with higher resolution, more CPU is spent on visualisation, while at the same time operating system manufacturers seem to push for proprietary solutions for hardware acceleration. If we have to adapt our UIs to such a proprietary solution you can easily add half a year of development time, if not more, for no benefit other than rolling back time to where we were five years ago, when screens had half as many pixels)

This is a huge annoyance to me, and I appreciate Zebra for how economical the GUI is in terms of processor usage. Would love to see an eco mode in Z3 that stops all animated GUI elements. I'm assuming there will be animations because the market demands it.

I'll keep saying "I need 6-9 consecutive months free of distraction" to get "into the zone". I'll start a new thread once I'm "in the zone".

On a positive note, I have leveraged some Uhbik development time for some Z3 development: While on vacation, I figured out some rare and unusual filter models which will appear in Runciter and/or Z3. That's a good thing, filter design is one of the big projects, as are the waveform/envelope editor and a few other half-done things.

With so many thirsty fanbois clucking for Zebra3, the only vacation allows himself is working in the next room at the u-he office

Vacation is something very close to "I need 6-9 consecutive months free of distraction". Only distraction is wife dragging me to shopping center, beach or friends & family. Zebra3 could be finished elegantly if I took a whole year off.
