Lion has lots of awesome modulation, but sounded bad to me when I demo'd it.

Thorn sounds good to these ears.

I'd say Lion is for experimental stuff, Thorn is for what I'd say is your usual every day sounds. Depends what you want to do. I'm still experimenting with Lion.

Knorr is a very useful bass enhancer.
Hillman sounds nice, the full price just seems a bit too expensive (imho) for what it does.
