Sorry, it will not.

That PSP preQursor2 is just wonderful on acoustic sources.

Thanks! That's interesting. I think someone said in this thread that Gullfoss's intelligent EQ'ing is basically based on a pink noise curve. Since reading that, I've been using the Ozone EQ with matching turned on, targeting a pink noise curve. That gives me really nice results.
I did some more testing on townhouse, and indeed... it does produce quite some aliasing when pushed hard.
Thanks for confirming that. It's interesting to find out that that's what was bothering me.
SPL Iron also seems to have quite some aliasing when pushed hard. I might refund this :?
That's too bad. I was thinking of getting Iron as my second plugin.
i don't like acoustica categorically.
Their saturation is no good. Gold, Viridian, and Water are fantastic EQ's, and Honey is also quite good and unique. I like Honey better than the UAD Harrison and also the EQ in Harrison Mixbus.

Might be, but gullfoss knocks out resonances really well.
Since it can't track THAT well it's probably FFT based, i assume.
A bit different than a fixed-band EQ.
But this is just guessing now.

it's actually pretty unique and nice, just not meant to push stuff. Should've been oversampled.
Presswerk in HQ mode and Pro-C2 in HQ mode are both so damn clean.

i really really don't like em. :) i just can't get behind IR based processing plugins.

Acustica are making advancements with Core 15 including Enhanced Harmonic Response and Dynamic Routing. Hopefully improving on CPU consumption.

Oh man, that is disappointing! Missed it when it was $29 last spring.

These days, I think many companies are including IR’s and just not telling us. Acustica does it on a much different level but running algorithmic processing through static IR’s is just so effective that I can’t imagine any companies NOT doing it.

Installation files 3.1GB
You don't need to download the installation files to get the serial number (the 3.1 GB download is actually all of IK Multimedia's plugins). You need to download the instructions (3 KB file) from FileSilo which will give you the link to get the serial number (the linked paged will ask you a question about a word taken from the magazine -- just like you need to answer for Filesilo and a few marketing list questions -- which you can answer no if you want). You'll need to verify your email and you will be sent the serial number after validating it.

According to the linked page, the offer is good until March 25, 2020.

Soon! :)
The sale is ON today.
Just read the SOS review from may 2006... the question is what remains to be unique about this delay?

It has a lot of features, so what could be accomplished that would be difficult/impossible with the rest? Particularly since it has been available rather long time.

It's got a lot of taps with things like filters on the feedback loop and it's a bit fiddly to program. Since it was first launched, a whole bunch of multitap delays have appeared, many of which are easier to deal with, particularly if you want the sequenced delays you get out of something like Tekturon. Also, with a bit of time you can slap something reasonably similar together out of racks in Bitwig or Ableton. What you do get with 608MD is pretty precise control out of each tap. Which is great...if you like programming intricate delays.

This is one of those situations where you're better off demoing to see if you get along with it. It does have a decent sound as I think it's based on the core of the delay algos in the PSP42/85. But you may well find it's easier to deal with something else.

Those are my two main styles of clothing.

I don't suppose anyone still has a code or two fro PA to PM me? Junx was very kind and I am back again to see if I can rely on the kindness of strangers. In other words, I am loathe to join facebook...

Many thanks in advance!
