Haters gonna hate. But this sale is the best PA ever did.
Got Dear VR Pro, SHMC A, Maag Magnum, Mc77
These plugins are among the best currently on the market. After the subscription mess, this is a nice welcome back to the old "heavy hitting" power users. I'm finding good use for these, this is no GAS buy
(I'm telling myself)

If they go the consistent discount route, many users will get what they want but some will attack for reasons I just dont get. Every month just have a few different ones for $29. They would probably get a reasonably good cash flow that way without losing a lot of money like they did with the $4 ones. I'm sure $4 barely covered the cost of the credit card fees.

I've also been saying for years that they just need to offer $29 plugins across the board. I'm leery about trying to use any of these shared codes now after it tied up $299 of my money the day before yesterday that is still pending. Until that is released I won't be buying anything else from anyone. So it looks like PA will lose the other two purchases at least I'd have made had they just given each of us unlimited purchases on our own codes. Or more codes per person.
Hopefully they took the feedback the three of us sent in about it failing and tying up our funds with PayPal. It's not fun being in limbo like this. I'd imagine they had to loosen up the number of times codes can be used before expiring or they would have had a TON of others in my predicament already since then with all the sharing they kicked off in their FB group.
I just wished I wasn't the one impacted for them to learn how to do it better.

PS I also don't understand the hate some people have for PA lowering prices and meeting market demand. Other than one facet of human nature. We seem to esteem what we can't have more than what we can. And especially so what is expensive over what is inexpensive or 'easy to get'. I think this is the explanation for the hate. Silly to me though if you think rationally.
Question: Are the A codes able to be used more than once? I just tested my A code again out of curiosity while I'm waiting and it is good even though I used it once already. B code isn't good as I already used it once.

Agree, but as someone said, they indeed want more people talking about it and wasting their time. Also, vouchers add that extra bit of feeling that you are getting something much cheaper than retail by using them. It is all games, bad marketing games, or rather good?escalona wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2020 6:06 pmWhy the "f#&$" don't they just put $29 on every plugin and people will buy whatever they want... Since I have already used it, can I give it away? Hope PA won't be mad and retrieve my license.![]()

Actually bought another plugin yesterday with my used A voucher. The pending payment at Paypal should dissapear after 7 days.

Hello, I was lucky with some kind people helping me here, I hope this helps someone else:

This worked for me about three times. If it’s not the ticket to the chocolate factory for you, perhaps try another A2 type, in case they are not all single-serving.
Edit: I guess they’re all golden tickets now?

Thanks RPH. Yeah. Seems they unlocked all the codes to prevent further issues and ensure more sales. Smart move.

And this was my favorite quote of the year so far here on KVR.Why the "f#&$" don't they just put $29 on every plugin and people will buy whatever they want... What a stupid waste of time with the voucher $#it... Di*k really needs to stop smoking so much crack already.

I paid full price for this last week, but never mind. It's a great package anyway.

Some may want to hang around to see if JRRShop or others offer an ex-VAT deal.

For the month of March, 2020 VSM & its Expansion Pack are being bundled together and ON SALE with a huge discount of 66% OFF!
So if you want a flavour of the CS-60 and the mighty CS-80 this is an ideal opportunity to whet your appetite at an astonishing price.
At just £33.33 for VSM & VSM's Expansion Pack, there's never been a better time to see why so many existing users describe VSM as one of their 'go-to' instruments.
Virtual String Machine is: 46 instruments, 187 sample-sets, over 1000 Patches, four UIs, stereo playback, 49 note range, dual layer & split keyboard capability, viintage style ensemble & phaser effects, lowpass, bandpass & highpass resonant filter section, two envelope generators, pitch & filter LFO, and dynamic control.
For people who like their strings a bit more symphonic, NOVO: Modern Strings is half price today only ($274.50 from $549).Back in December 2019 we released free updates to Virtual String Machine® (VSM) and its associated Expansion Pack. During development we spent many hours sampling, note by note, a diverse array of additional string sounds from a range of hardware instruments bringing the combined sound libraries to over 10Gb
To add a little versatility to VSM, we agreed that a sprinkling of tones sampled from the majestic CS-80 and CS-60 would be the perfect addition to our collection of string sounds.
As well as sampling the CS-80 presets, Strings 1 to 4, Dave Spiers created a set of classic yet complimentary sample sets using the CS's Ring Modulator.
VSM version 3.0 extends the range of the original sound library through the inclusion of new, and predominately stereo, sound-sets from the following instruments; the aforementioned Yamaha CS-80, the CS-60, Solina String Ensemble, Roland 505, and Roland's Juno 106. When combined with its Expansion Pack, VSM now contains 187 sample-sets from 46 instruments.

I'm not a big synth person, but I do remember the great string machine sounds from old 70's songs. Great for ambient pads and background strings in pop/rock.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2020 3:40 pm I paid full price for this last week, but never mind. It's a great package anyway.

And I probably can get the sounds with Absynth, but this is pretty cool.
