Hi,
I'm running Mulab 8.4.18 I have a couple of plug-in tracks. When I select a part and then Project - Render selected parts as new sample, the audio sample is created but it is silent. Am I doing something wrong? I've tried this with both mux instruments and vst instruments.

I quickly double-checked the function and it works as expected here.
Are you sure the part/track/rack is not muted? Are you sure you're rendering the correct time range?
Could it be that the audio signal path of that rendered part is dependent on events sent by other tracks which are not included in the mixdown? I mean: If you have a bass part and volume automation part and the volume is silent atm and you only render the bass part then the result is silent obviously as the automation volume part is not rendered too.

Thanks. I rebooted my pc and I no longer have this issue, render works as expected.
