Same here, I'm afraid: it imported into Flash as 1967 keyframes with nothing in the library except the bitmaps and objects, no audio. I could export as a Quicktime MOV all right, but it would be a damn quiet one...endmusik wrote:ok, I tried my damndest in both quicktime pro, as well as in Flash. Flash will open the file but there's no audio, and quicktime won't parse it out
anyone else have any ideas?
Can someone do me a favour?

Hi Everyone,
Dont know if this is helpful or not but there are a couple of apps for OS X that let you take a video of whats going on on screen:
Movie Grab
Screen Record
Snapz Pro
Screen Tool
The demos of some of these should let you record the file as its being played back...

No, it's just that IE doesn't know what to do with it - it doesn't have the functionality to do any kind of conversion on the file. It really just takes it and passes it off to the Flash (ShockWave Flash - SWF) plugin.fitch wrote:It's wierd that when i download the file in IE the "save as" is greyed out..

BTW, an easy way to save files like these is to create you own webpage with a link to the file and then right-click, save as...! Just look through the source to find the full URL of the file in question, then plunk it into an anchor on your local file. I have an html file on my desktop just for that purpose. Takes a little knowledge of HTML, though...

alternatively ... do the mac equivalent of right-click >>> copy link location and then email the link to yourself as html where you can then right-click >>> save link as ...pough wrote:No, it's just that IE doesn't know what to do with it - it doesn't have the functionality to do any kind of conversion on the file.
