anyone else have any ideas?
Same here, I'm afraid: it imported into Flash as 1967 keyframes with nothing in the library except the bitmaps and objects, no audio. I could export as a Quicktime MOV all right, but it would be a damn quiet one...

Hi Everyone,

Dont know if this is helpful or not but there are a couple of apps for OS X that let you take a video of whats going on on screen:

Movie Grab
Screen Record
Snapz Pro
Screen Tool

The demos of some of these should let you record the file as its being played back...

;) I know. It was just to Har and Michael, both of whom I know. I figured between the both of them, one of them could get it, but guess not. :?

No, it's just that IE doesn't know what to do with it - it doesn't have the functionality to do any kind of conversion on the file. It really just takes it and passes it off to the Flash (ShockWave Flash - SWF) plugin.

BTW, an easy way to save files like these is to create you own webpage with a link to the file and then right-click, save as...! Just look through the source to find the full URL of the file in question, then plunk it into an anchor on your local file. I have an html file on my desktop just for that purpose. Takes a little knowledge of HTML, though...

alternatively ... do the mac equivalent of right-click >>> copy link location and then email the link to yourself as html where you can then right-click >>> save link as ...

... slightly more work but less html involved ...
