inside your Project folder Create a Folder Named "Audio" inside this one Create a folder named "Plug-ins" inside this one Create a Folder named "Components" and put you plugin inside this last folder like my plugin "MB Virtual Drums Component" then when everything is exactly were it should go Drag the "Audio" Folder on the iceberg Interface under Library
because this is where you want it to be Installed
do the same for all other Plugins you want to install Changing the Component folder for VST or VST3
you should get it like in this Picture
(This is Iceberg Package Maker for up to El Capitan)

Thank you, that helped a lot. I also got a HSF disk error when doing the build but i fixed that. Ive just got to test my plug-in on Catalina which i haven't got. I might put Catalina on an external SSD and run it from there.

Hi folks! thanks for the invite, i have not read this entire thread, but we have ported all our plugins, maize and juce and C++ all to Catalina successfully including aax of juce/C++
I will shortly share very simple process and code for the terminal window to use and also thing you will need.
I will not be able to reply very often, but i think these should work flawlessly for all developers , just like they have for me.

I tried this method and it doesn't work for any plugin formats (AU/VST/VST3). I get the error that says that the plugin is damaged and won't be opened. If I use this method for VST/VST3 plugins, I get the same message when the plugins are scanned and they don't even show up in the plugin list of Reaper.

I've tried to codesigned my plugins myself (I have a developer account) but it just won't work. I'm stuck at getting a valid certificate.

Releasing Windows only plugins is tempting...

The same for me here, I've tried that and it doesn't work, so far this is the summary of my tests:

Gatekeeper Bypass Plugins: Works

Plugins created and exported in Maize Sampler (Windows version) 2.5.9, 2.5.6 and 2.5.4 deleting the 2 files "CodeResources" File and "_CodeSignature": Not work

Plugins created and exported in Maize Sampler 2.5.9, 2.5.6 and 2.5.4 in macOs Catalina: Test not performed

Create my Plugins installer with "Packages" and install them with the right button option: Test not performed

Install third-party plugin with the right button option: Works

Mandatory: if You Want To Create Plugins For Mac and test them Properly
You need "Logic X" because "Garage Band" does not have the "Plugin Manager"
and Sometimes you Need to Re-set - Re-Scan Plugins to Make Them Work!

to Beatmaker i got the plugins you sent me working the first time!

Audio Units have Been Created for logic this is why you if you want to create plugins for mac you need logic to test them i already send you a link to download it so why don't you try!

in Garage Band there is no Plugin Manager so you do not have the Option to Re-Set Re-Scan the Plugins to remove the Blacklisting!

you can also try re-export a plugin with a different UNIQUE ID and different Name after that you delete the 2 Files
if you use a previously exported plugin that you tried with your mac OS Daw and delete the 2 files it won't work because the Unique ID of this plugin has Been Blacklisted
and do not forget to reboot

The question is, why do the test plugins that I have exported from windows work on your Mac Catalina and on mine not? it's very strange
