I haven't used either, but a demo video of the AcouFiend I watched described all the controls and I can't see anything on the Softube one that lets you set the note the feedback comes in on relative to the guitar note like you can with the BlueCat one. The speaker control rotates and the labels show you the resultant note relative to the fundamental.

What is a Necklace type reverb?

I picked up the PSP Necxcellence because it sounds good and I'm a sucker for reverbs.

It's a Hammond reverb that uses springs of different lengths. The signal thus reaches the other side at different times, similarly to how reflections arrive in real spaces. The springs hang downward and have the appearance of a triple chain necklace.
