Hive 2.0 constantly getting stuck

Hi di0de, hi operator,

any news on the stuck notes front? I'm playing Hive constantly and can't get any stuck notes, so whatever information you can send us is much appreciated. You mention it happens constantly so it shouldn't be too hard to maybe start a new project, hit record and play until it happens. You could then just send that project file over to us and we can take a look.
How about it?
Or does it not happen during recording/playback?

I almost never record Hive live and I think I never got the stuck notes during playback (or maybe only once, not sure). I always play the QUERTY Keyboard during sound design. So I play the synth and tweak the parameters until the sound is 80% done, then I have a good starting point to start programming midi. The synth mostly got stuck during the "pressing and tweaking" stage.... So a lot of repeatedly pressing the QUERTY keyboard and tweaking parameters are involved.

Nowadays I use Reaper, where hanging notes are also fault of the Host itself, when playing the Virtual Midi Keyboard through the QUERTY Keyboard. But in a few cases it seems that Hive was responsible for the stuck notes because when Reaper stucks the note(s) it can be stopped by pressing the stuck note(s) again. But in a few cases it just wouldn´t stop and even when bypassing (turn off and on again) the synth didn´t stop playing the note... this was the time when I thought it must be Hive´s fault.

I also can´t say that it is solely Reapers fault, because in the past I used Bitwig and I got the stuck notes there aswell. (not only with Hive, but with other u-he synths aswell)...

I couldn´t reproduce it until now.. BUT believe me, I won´t rest until I can reproduce it. Next time I will run into the problem I try to reproduce the whole circumstances... maybe it will take a few days until I get the problem again.

I will send you a mail with the Reaper Project as soon as I can reproduce it!

This happens to me as well, Windows 10 & Cubase 9.5. It doesn’t happen often, but occasionally. Midi reset usually works to stop it, but the other night I had to close cubase. It’s happened when I’m playing live as well as using a midi part. Seems random, I can’t reproduce it myself.

Okay i have to test this thoroughly now this week - i thought it was my ROLI causing this but having so many people with issues apparently its not
