Hi Vojtech,

please add a well organized midi browser like EZdrummer has to mdrummer. New sounds are great, but if you’re not a drummer and have lots of midi loops it’s no fun to handle them inside mdrummer.
Thanks

How did you solve it?

I’ve got a personal message by Vojtech on Facebook. There will be no midi browser. Vojtech means it’s an old system. You have to think in meldas rhythm system.
At the moment I’ll try to get my hands on it and find the advantages. Until now I like the midi categorization by Toontrack. But we’ll see!

Just for info:
MIDI can be brought into MDrummer's LOOP EDITOR or ESSENTIAL BEAT EDITOR with Functions> Import MIDI, but the MD browser closes after each import.
A better way (in Windows at least) is to drag in from your computer's file browser...at least the browser stays open (although minimized).
But if you use Snap Assist in W10 (or Aero Snap in W7/8) the browser stays open in its snapped position, then you can easily drag in MIDI loops one after the other.
So, not as slick as having 'instant preview from browser' etc, but pretty good.

I will learn the rhythm system.
Goldglob good to know, but not comparable to the Toontrack browser and tap to find feature.

2025 bump, can we please have an option to pin the midi browser so it's doesnt close after each import.
