Okay, I checked it and then reset it back o what I thought I had it at and now everything is back to the way it was.

So here's my question. What would cause the zoom level to change when i never touched it?

Because zoom level can change accidentally by its shortcut combination.

Yes. Zoom level can change accidentally by its shortcut combination.

I had that problem many years ago when I first started using a Chrome derivative browser... I had inadvertently used a shortcut key combo... took me a while to figure it out.

Could be you did the same.

Ctrl +/- is the shortcut keyboard combination that probably changed the zoom level accidentally.
