Hey there,

how about the ide to have devices in plugins marked as favorites to ... maybe have an extra tab just for the favorites? Maybe even with some kind of individual default-setting or so.

Regarding the first idea: in MTurboReverb are quite a many devices. I would find it better to have a smaller set of favorite devices for a better overview and without the need of switching to another category, for example.

Regarding the last idea: I do not like how the LU meter in MTurboComp devices is set to momentary term instead of short term, which I personal like more in my workflow. Unfortunately when switching a default devices for the first time, this setting gets reset in way.

Looking forward to all your input regarding this! :)

Hey,

well this is what the global presets are for ;). You can make a folder there for example. Another tab would make things unnecessarily complicated.
As for the LU meter - I'm afraid, these are just the settings in the devices, sorry you don't like them.

I have often thought that meter / time-graph settings / colours etc should not be included in Devices or presets.

Just an idea - given that we can lock various Easy screen parameters when changing Devices, why not have another lock for the meter and time-graph properties. Everyone's happy.

It could go at the top of the meters toolbar:

To use the global presets I would find these things to block a creative flow:
1. You have to open a new window.
2. You have to chose the specific folder first (well okay ... as for the tab you also had to "open" this device-section!).
3. You have to double click the preset to load it. Also the presets are just one small text and the devices on the left site of the plugin are nice and big "buttons".

Regarding complicated:
In MTurboReverb there are seven tabs already. So I'd say one more would not make a great difference, when speaking of "complicated" at least here. ;)

BUT: I totally understand it, if you say it would be too difficult to embed. At the moment I am using the A/B switched for having some "go to presets" quickly accessible. And I also thought about just hacking the devices by editing them on my own, but they would be gone after any update, right? So new questions:

1. How about the option to be able to give the A/B switched an indivudla label (optional)?
2. How about the option to have additional devices added by the user (hack-wise and not quite that officially!) in the users documents folder? Or in some folder a new update would nothing be lost or so.

Just wanted to ask. If not, thanks for listening anyway! :tu:

My two ideas above would also solve this issue. I also like DarkStars idea. Also: in my initial post I wrote about a LU meter in MTR, obvisouly I meant MTurboComp instead, haha! I just edited my post to correct this (not that important, but I wanted to correct myself, hehe).

Thanks again Vojtech! Also thank you, DarkStar, for your input as well!
