...and there is a downside to being here, however...
-1/ there is no such thing as "just a few"...
-2/ that joy and excitement that used to happen when there was an announcement of some new "break though" plugin ...gone...you'll just start to think (again) "I can probably do that in Mxxx"...which you already have...(see#1)...and...
-3/ every time you start to think "well, I got that one flat" someone else will post a video showing how to do something you've never thought of before...with that same plugin...(sigh)...
...you are now fore warned...:hihi:.../s~

Nobody put in question the possibilities of other plugins if one feels at ease with them (I have a lot of them). The question is if a synth is "in tune" with your frame of mind or not!! It's not how many FXs you can make with it, but the "musicality" it can pull out of you!!! I'm tired of searching for the synth for "that sound" (and pile them), I want a synth that "show me" my sound and with which I can mold it! And this makes all the difference of this world, not if a sound is more or less "warm"!!!

Hey basicinsynth, glad you found something you really like and appreciate. I am not sure what some people find strange about the behaviour of someone signing up in a forum to give such kind of positive feedback. Seems totally legit to me! ;)

Feel free to stay here in the forums. There is a very great community here. Feel free to ask anything here, look out for great videos and tips and look forward to cool updates of the plugins. Welcome aboard. :)

And by the way, complaints about GUI aren't actual anymore, Neon skin is awesome. BUT for me there was nothing wrong with the other skins, still great plugins. Airwindows doesn't have any GUI, still great plugins

I feel the same as you - no more eyeing other plugins. Sure, once in a blue moon I'll find interest here and there. There's just so much to master, and all the bases are covered, that I'd rather just keep working with what I now have.

I like the MeldaProduction GUI! I would also like to have again the "futuristic" type to choose from!

For as I see it the only motif to have a lot of synths (and in a degree a bunch of other plugins) are presets. Presets can help (indeed they help), but they limit creativity. When you have a system that can do almost everything, what's the point to have a series of sub-systems if not that to have a "prepackaged limitation". Yes, creativity starts with a limitation, but a limitation that WE choose or we create from an almost infinite system!! Only when we grasp the process of limitation, when we understand that what we choose of not to choose is more important of what we choose, we start to create! For example, a tune is a limitation of an almost infinite system (the equal-temperament system); the equal-temperament system is itself a subsystem of a bigger infinite system! In these two examples what we not choose (choosing it) is bigger of what we choose! The question is no more what we can create with the limited means that we have, but how we can create with the infinite that we have to limit!

Try to rather think of presets as "starting points" and "ideas what may be possible with the tool". You can already work with them and combine ("compose"!) them or tweak them. Composing music with classical instruments on the other site is also some kind of "using the same preset" (e.g. the instrument "violin") again and again, but composing it in a different way with different combinations, etc.

Many years ago I also was not cool with using presets. Today (especially when it comes to making money with music, while I really know nowadays what "time is money" means) I am totally cool with using presets at least as a starting point. I still mainly use my own presets, though, but sometimes factory presets as well (well .. .also the ones that I did not create, haha :D ).

I think my search is over too after getting Melda SoundFactory a few days ago. This is something really special..

It seems a perfect balance for me of being modular enough to really experiment but is also quick and fun to just throw things together and get interesting sounds.

It reminds me of Gotharmans Little Deformer in that it seems like a pure vision of what a synth should be and is its own crazy sound world. I much prefer this though even though the LD is fantastic.

That's my initial review, 10 out of 10 so far it's a wonderful thing and I hope anyone looking for new sounds realises how good it is.

It's a pity that the reviews always happen somewhere in forum, but not in the review function of KVR
MSoundfactory for instance: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/msound ... on/details

This is the general problem with KVR, but as soon as a small bonus program is made, the reviews are enormous (PluginBoutique). But at KVR the quality is more honest maybe.

I think through reviews and rating we can express our thanks and take away the worries of the doubters. There are often doubts circulating in the network of people who have no idea.

There are also not many sites where MSF or other great products from Melda are recommended or only an old version is presented. The enormous development speed is not considered.
There is a phenomenon. First the marketing, okay. Secondly, the vicious circle of rankings. Why are here in KVR always the same plugins high in the ranking? Because they're high in the ranking :D. Everyone's looking for it, so those are the ones that get downloaded most. I wish that the real value of MSoundfactory and MXXX becomes more known.
And so i hope that Vojtech will be able to find even more collaborators for the development, so that our wishes can be fulfilled here, which Vojtech has always taken to heart.

OK no problem, I will leave a proper review in a few weeks when I have explored MSF better!
