Do you purchase or obtain license via transfers every month?
I have only been their customer for a month now (after the leap year sale), but have not received any such vouchers. I think it is too short a duration to be considered a loyal customer.![]()

Maybe this is an old question. But what will be the cheapest way for WUP plan from waves?`

Cheapest way is usually upgrades rather than WUP, especially during their upgrade sales. But it depends. People will be able to help you better if you tell what exactly you have and what do you want to get.waldemarjohann wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:34 pm Maybe this is an old question. EDIT: Since Waves is currently having the Bundle Blowout Sale, it is a fantastic time to upgrade rather than going the WUP route.

Very true.kelvyn wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 6:44 am This is really not the time to be cynical - bigger fish to fry - maybe it would be better to channel that negativity into something positive. Go shopping for an elderly neighbor.
PA do some things that not a lot of other companies do... Their loyalty vouchers and really good sales. If you don't like their plugins don't buy them, it's that simple. And unless Dirk has literally physically punched you, there is really nothing to moan about.

If you are just WUP'ing, they have a 25% off sale about twice a year. Get the code and go to everyplugin.com & see what deal they can give you.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:37 pmCheapest way is usually upgrades rather than WUP, especially during their upgrade sales. But yes, +1 on buying the next bundle up over WUP'ing. I think you may be able to get it from everyplugin also. Not sure though.

Upgrades are almost never on sale. I think I've been buying EW products for about 3 years now. This is the first upgrade sale I've seen.shidostrife wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 12:41 am I never paid attention to eastwest upgrades. How often are upgrades included in sales? Thinking of getting HO gold now and upgrading to diamond later if necessary. But if they don't discount upgrades that often I might hold it off.
Edit: Diamond requires a lot of resources. If you don't have at least 32 GB RAM and an SSD, just get the Gold

I've seen them on sale several times, and the last sale (back in Feb), upgrades were available and I almost upgraded to Platinum, but decided it was something I didn't need.dzilizzi wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 9:48 pmUpgrades are almost never on sale. After some consideration I think I'll stick with composercloudX for now ($10/month with academic pricing) and save up while doing further research on other alternatives as well.

You're welcome, waldemarjohann. I would suggest checking this page for all the possible upgrade options: https://www.waves.com/account/upgradeswaldemarjohann wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 10:26 amdzilizzi wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 9:46 pmIf you are just WUP'ing, they have a 25% off sale about twice a year. Then, you can decide from where to upgrade: Waves direct (use code YNY23), AudioDeluxe, or EveryPlugin. Dealers will be able to give you a better deal than direct.
I understand that you want to upgrade some plugins, but no harm in checking the options for a great bundle. Bundle sales will happen again, but discount wise there won't be any better upgrade price than this, at least not significantly better. So, evaluate your options this weekend and see if something fits.
Again, highly suggest looking for an upgrade option rather than WUP.
Take care!

Email from Audio Damage:
Worked fine for me earlier; picked up Axon2 for $29.50."Please stop."
We imagine many of you said that when you received your third or fourth Quanta or Continua update notice in as many weeks. Believe us when we say it hurts us more than it hurts you. We have been having no end of trouble with Apple's certificate authority with regards to the macOS versions of Quanta and Continua. These are products that are built end-to-end with the very modern build chain necessary to release fully Catalina-ready plugins, and it appears there are still some speed bumps on the Highway To Success.
However, after spending the last couple weeks working diligently, first with our industry peers, and more recently with the Apple notarization and signing working group directly, to find a solve for this problem, we are pleased to report that the end is in sight. We haven't found what is causing it, but we have found a pair of workarounds that keep it from happening.
Long story short, if you are experiencing any troubles with Quanta and/or Continua on a Catalina machine after the recent updates, just go in to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins, and delete the existing Quantas and/or Continui, start your DAWs and verify the plugins are not in there; if they are, force a full rescan (method varies by DAW), then close the DAW and re-install the latest installer of Quanta or Continua. Once you restart the DAW (it wouldn't hurt to reboot first) you should be good. This will not affect existing sessions, as both Continua and Quanta store the state of the plugin in the session, not the plugin. We made some notes with step-by-step instructions here.
While this issue isn't strictly our fault, we take full responsibility. As a sincere apology, please accept this gift of a one-time 50% off coupon for the Audio Damage web store.
Use the code HITMEBABYONEMORETIME at checkout. One use per customer, good until March 27th. (Link will take you to the store and auto-apply the coupon)
In the next few days, final fixed Quanta and Continua installers will be uploaded that have a script to perform this task so you don't have to do it manually. Until then, this solve should do the trick.
And a note from Adam & Chris
Many of you have been our customers and friends for nearly two decades. Whether you have been with us for the full ride, or are relatively new to the Audio Damage family, we would ask that you please take care of yourselves in this trying time, take all the advised precautions seriously, and look to your family and friends, as we do. We're all in this together, and we'll come out the other side.
