Feature Request MSF: Make ARP "values" accessible as modulators

1.) The MSF ARP comes with many "value" lanes, like velocity, lenght but the A-E lane, the octave offest lanes or even the current step number as well. All these values could be used as source for modulation of sounds.
2.) Intruduce a extra "value" lane where a user is able to dial in values in percent from 0% to 100%.

Kind of a step sequencer, yes.
But as the ARP is a "global thing" I bet the values would be more like the global modulator values.
Haven't thought about whether it makes sence on a "per voice" base. Hm? What would you say, jmg8?

I'm not sure of the advantage of having it in the ARP. There is already the step sequencer in both global mod and per-voice.
Maybe i am missing something? Is there a reason why it would be in the ARP?

The "sequencers" I have seen in the plugins are simply LFOs in step mode. They have their own tempo. There's no relation to the tempo of the ARP. They are mostly free running. I was not yet able to discover a "sync/retrigger" mode where a "note on" translates to "go to the next step".jmg8 wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 2:03 pm Maybe i am missing something? And man...I dived into the "step sequencer" in the "MBDelay" preset "16 steps glitch" ... puh this "bars start" and "bars end" thing is rather unintuitive.
And it seem kind of broken. For the sake of figuring out what all this "mess" means I changed the group name only of the Parameter named "Seq1" to "Sequencer--1". Actually this resulted in a "Sequencer--1" GUI element group with all the steps, tough I haven't renamed the group setting of all the other "Seq xyz" parameters. And on top of that I got a second "Sequencer" GUI Group which covers the sync settings...
Sorry, but this is broken. The semantics of a "Group" grouping elements is overriden by "bar start" and "bar end". It works somehow, but I think it's not going to be an acceptable solution for a wide spread audience.
Anyway ... I get distracted here ... many point is. "Sequencer" is a.) not a concept that actually exists in MS. It is simulated afaik. Then b.) the simulation is not what I'm seeking in terms of intuitive use *and* functionality

I'm afraid no time for that and as you said, there would be MANY parameters, that means more memory, more CPU, more loading time...
