Loading the presets is really a bit slow. There is always a delay of 1-2s although the wavetables and data are on a SSD.

Very much considering buying ANA2 - but i need to ask this question first (and please don't take this the wrong way, Phil, its a real question)
Is developement of ANA2 still on-going, - ie: features, etc. still being added/whats currently in ANA2 still being refined - or is it all about chasing bugs at this point (which is important; but not the same as moving a product forward)
- if you could give me some idea of what's in store for ANA2, Phil, id feel better about buying a license for it.

Yeah it’s still in active development.
Next update will be multisampling upgrade to the sampler.
After that or possibly along with that will be some stuff around the filters and tuning to create more analog vibes. I.e. random drift for tuning and filters. Also a filter input gain.
We have a contract with Slate to continue development and keep it active for a long time.

Depends...kiezum wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 7:05 am What kind of copy protection does ANA2 use? And on how many computers can I use ANA2?
Our version is a license key download for 2 computers.
Slate version is iLok

I think the ‘Slate’ version is part of their subscription so not available separately. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I have both the slate subscription as well as ANA2 via Sonic Academy so I use the 2-license key version of ANA2. It’s definitely one of my favorite synths since I like the intuitive workflow. With the new NODE plugin, it’s going to be fantastic. I also use Kick2 all the time.kiezum wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 7:05 am What kind of copy protection does ANA2 use? Thanks Phil for ignoring my post.Roman Wisniak wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:07 pm Phil, will you consider special offer for sound packs (or a bundle) for loyal customers who bought ANA2 paying full price?

Demoed this last weekend and bought it within hours. Love the sound, and at least for my personal taste this thing is just full of sweet.
I do agree re: some of the confusing tab/close UI issues people have posted about, but it hasn't been a big problem for me so far.

Hopefully you are modifying some of the sample editing behavior as well? Knobs moving when other knobs are being tweaked?Phil Sonic Academy wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 1:58 am Yeah it’s still in active development.

Also, I personally think a basic stretch mode would be much more useful in a synth like this than multi-sampling. Any chance you might include that?
