Hi:

I'm using waveform 10 pro and waveform 11 free on windows.
Both show the internals plugins Sampler and FM Synth, but these don't work... no error... just don't appear on the track when I drag them.

Is this a bug?

Both seem to work for me.
Could you perhaps show a short video capture of how they don't work (there's lots of different ways to add plugins to a track, and it could be a problem with just one of them).

I enabled de option MIDI -> Show Legacy Plugins and they work again (don't know when this changed).
When I disable this option the plugins are not displayed in the menus, unless you select "Tag menu" as Plugin selector. That was my configuration, so was able to see the plugins, but not use them.

They've really been super-seeded by 4OSC and Multi-sampler/Drum Sampler which is why they're hidden by default now.

However, you said "Both show the internals plugins Sampler and FM Synth, but these don't work... no error... just don't appear on the track when I drag them", how were you dragging them? If you do manage to add them to a track, they should appear on a track, it's just the menu items they shouldn't show in anymore (unless the "Legacy" option is enabled).

With Legacy=disabled and Plugin selector=Tag menu, the plugins are displayed in the tag menu as untagged, but don't appear on the track when you drag them.

I think you should consider set Legacy enabled for Waveform free, because the free version does not include Multi-sampler and Micro Drum Sampler is not the same.

It's a question of which language you spell well in...

Programming languages tend to be fussy about those proseedures and funktions...

Wasn't there supposed to be a new FM Synth? What happened to that?

The new one will be sold separately, I believe, and is still in development.

If you want a newer FM synth in Waveform, check out Collective. It's a pretty solid 4-operator synth, as well as a ROMpler.
