Hi Sample Science the Script is not Really Needed
What the Script Does is Re-Validate All Plugins
it could be Any other plugin of the user that is Blocking the Auval Tool!
(Script not really needed, if you do not use the script installation will be Faster)

Verify that all the Plugins permissions are "755" and apply it to all enclosed items
Xiang just send me a Plugin he created with v2.6 told me it was not working!
and i found that the major problem was Plugin Permissions!

Here are Explanations about your Plugins not Working for some Users!
what is really important is
you must put Required Logout or Restart in your installer

and you must specify that they have to start the installer using the Mouse Right Click
if they did not use the Mouse right Click, it will show the plugin as damaged!

and if you used your previously exported plugin in the installer,
it means you did not change the Unique ID !
the users have the delete the Audio Units cache because the Plugin ID has been Blacklisted

P.S. Please Send an e-mail to Xiang and tell him that my Workaround for Catalina is Working
and tell him that a Shared Player is a "NO GO"

Ive make my pkg, ive just gotta test it on Catalina...where in the process would i change the permissions?

i Sample Science it's Probably that something has not been followed either by you or the Customer
Just send me one of your Plugin not Working for any User and i will Recheck it

here is one major thing that could do
"not validating" if you used the same exported plugin and you did not re create a new one with a "Unique Different ID"
and if the users just re-install over the previous one Without removing the "Audio units cache"
it will not work it's Been Black Listed
to be sure it will work everywhere re-create the plugin and be Sure to Have a
"Different Plugin Unique ID"
so when you send it to any of your users it will be recognized as a
New Plugin Never installed on the Machine
use a Dummy Loader like Mine "AAA.mse"
also mention that they have to use either
"CTRL-Click to Open the Installer and Choose Open from the Drop Down Menu"
or use the "Mouse Right Click"
and also
Verify that your Plugin Permissions are "755" and apply to all Enclosed items
i've noticed Xiang that exported plugin do not Have the Proper Permissions (Xiang must Fix it)
if you do this then it will work and do not worry for Catalina updates it will still work

Hi Sample Science if your Using my Project
and putting your own files in it you still Have to Verify your Plugins Permissions
Check it for All files and folders under the.component including the .mse
you can verify this with Packages

if you do not want to re export your plugins
there is an Easy Way to edit you Unique ID in the *.component/contents/Ressources/msp.rsrc
by using a Program Called Rezilla so you do not Have to Re-Export all Your Plugins
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rezilla/
i downloaded you Oberom Audio Unit and Changed the Unique ID in the Ressource file
Replace it in your Plugin and put it in an Installer and test it!

Hi Sample Science
There is Something Else i have to talk to You About

let's say we Use your Oberom
as i see you Put all the .mse inside each Plugins
if the users want to Download the
Audio Units 344 mb
the VST 344 mb
and The VST3 344 mb
he will Download 3 Big Files a Total of 1032mb
and after installing the uncompressed plugins on his Computer he will end up using around 1700 mb of Space

the way i do it is better the user download an installer that will have only about 344 mb for all 3 Plugins
and once installed he will end up using around 574 mb


because i put the .mse in a Folder in the Library/Application Support/ (Folder Plugin Name?)
and instead of putting the .mse inside the plugins i put symlinks that point to the the .mse location
in the folder described above

so the installer is Smaller in Size for the 3 Plugins and it takes the 1/3 of space because the .mse library is in the Library/Application Support

P.S. i am Presently Building an installer for with the Feature described Above once Finished i Will upload the Packages project to Dropbox and send you and send you the Link

a Symlink has the .mse extension and points to the original .mse
