its GUI actually once was a work of beauty:

The GUI being shitty is a weakness, it is relevant (for many) and the screenshots are from Waveform Pro (11).Danilo Villanova wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 11:54 am Wow, more meaningless irrelevant opinions... KVR is a magical place. Why can’t you just criticize a program based on its weaknesses and strengths as opposed to elevating your subjective opinions based on your irrelevant aesthetic judgements and experiences from 3 versions ago to the level of objective truth? Wow, that was much better indeedjens wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:18 pmits GUI actually once was a work of beauty:

The weakness is you thinking that your opinion of it being "shitty" is actually relevant. Obviously no one cares about anybody's "feelings" about the aesthetic value of a software or how it is buggy because of how version 1.2 crashed on them. We do care about relevant information that can help the buyer. People here think their feelings are so important and they feel the need to verbally destroy any company that is not THEIR favorite one. Nothing about your comment is helpful to anyone. You wrote it because you are feeling cute. No one cares.antic604 wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:30 pmThe GUI being shitty is a weakness, it is relevant (for many) and the screenshots are from Waveform Pro (11).Danilo Villanova wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 11:54 am Wow, more meaningless irrelevant opinions... I've no idea why you get your panties in a bunch over this? No one will provide you OBJECTIVE info, because DAWs usefulness isn't objective.
I look like my avatar. Believe me - I'm not feeling remotely "cute"Danilo Villanova wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:38 pmThe weakness is you thinking that your opinion of it being "shitty" is actually relevant. Nor do wordy rants about other people's reviews. Please comment on the subject, not your opinions of others.Danilo Villanova wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 11:54 am Wow, more meaningless irrelevant opinions... KVR is a magical place. Then better look in the dedicated Tracktion / Waveform forum:JoaquinAce wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 4:01 pm I honestly would like to know. Yes I can demo it but I want to read others experience before going through downloading it etc.
Do not agree at all with this. You can rig any DAW to do MPE, but the difference in usefulness between Bitwig's MPE implementation and Live's clunky workaround is not objective in the least. If you wanted to write scores for orchestras then using either Live or Bitwig to do so is going to be a bigger challenge than in Logic, Cubase or DP. This list goes on and on.antic604 wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:30 pm No one will provide you OBJECTIVE info, because DAWs usefulness isn't objective.
I didn't mean it like that. OP clearly asked for personal (but somehow still objective??) opinion, not comparison of feature lists.machinesworking wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 6:29 pmDo not agree at all with this.
