Hmm... she should get Tangerine Dream to be her backup band. They would make a perfect match!

Post

hah, madonna can't sing worth poop live. she has no pitch whatsoever.

 - Yeah, I saw this on SNL too. I usually flip around the stations when the bands come on, because I'm not keen on most of them. But I do like Jude 'The Dude' Law, so I didn't want to miss his stuff. So I flip in - there's Ashlee going around stage and a very faint trickle of a voice could be heard. She eventually just smiled to the band and walked off stage and the band jammed on for a few more seconds before going to commercial - they had a good groove going atleast. ;)

As for the 'lip syncing' - and me defending Ashlee, so hell must be forming ice somewhere... I think it was more a 'guide track' for her than a actual 'Solid Gold' moment. Maybe it had some back up vocals on it as well which no one got to hear?
Not that I'm a big Ashlee fan - but it wasn't THAT catastrophic IMO.

Now anyone steps up on my honey mama Mandy Moore, I'll bitch slap the snot out of the lot of ya! :hihi:

I think that the reason that Ashlee Simpson is being treated as a joke, is because she was seen as a joke to start with. Everyone knew she was the "less talented sister" and this just kind of confirmed it. It is pretty obvious that Ashlee at least sang the vocal track she lipsynched to- though it is very bloody obvious that the track was run through a anteres autotune, and many other vocal processors. I think people were more upset by milli vanilli because the public took them more seriously, only to find out that they were bamboozled. Further, I dont think that the public was really all that much more outraged, it was just that they had their grammy taken away from them.

but racism? naw. I thought less of Ashlee simpsons' music than I think of crunk. At least lil jon is behind the mix boards trying his best. He is not being spoonfed songs from the best producers on the labels staff. Do you really think that Ashlee is going to have any credibility after this? especially now that she has blamed her band? since her band can misteriously play her voice through guitar, keyboards and drums?

I will be the first to agree with you that Milli vanilli got a raw deal. I just wish that instead of crying racism people would cry asshole. There are alot of assholes in this world, and the same asshole that would purposely keep someone of color down, is going to most likely have no problem doing the same thing to a white person. I think that things like this expose what a dirty biz the music biz is. Its not inherently racist, it is inherently out to exploit any artist.

Tony, you are a fuckin' idiot, it's sad you'll not be able to see what a stupid wankstain you look like.

Bring it on, bitch
You stage name "Muff" sounds too gay! :D

Post

yeah, quite obviously for those with little to no experience wigglin' tha muff :hihi:

now we finally get to the bottom of your propensity for calling others 'gay'...... feeling a little lonely there in the closet, are ya? :D

If his name was 'Hugh Jass', I'd concur Tony...

But Muff sounds good to me - day or night.

However, in the instances of your use of the words gay and homo, you are using a word that defines what people are and you are making it into a demeaning epithet. I had a christian friend who used the word gay a lot and never understood why I found it to be terribly insensitive. So I started to use the word 'christian' in the same way, with the same amount of scorn, as though being a christian were low, base, pathetic and disgusting. He stopped using gay.

I think I might start using American or Texan as a substitute for gay or homo... because, hey, if you're not an American or a Texan, then it's a valid insult, right?

As for the other issues that were brought up and hammered non-stop, what a joke. "You should get mad at Eric, too, for calling me an ass." and "This was between us so you should leave us alone." What kind of f**king christian-ass texan brings up moronic american points like these and expects to have them taken seriuously? Talking about missing the point.
So if someone call you an ass, asshole, jackass, etc. because of their disagreement with ANY of your opinions, you wouldn't defend yourself????

Sorry Pough, I'm not feeling you logic. :uhuhuh:

Not getting involved in the fight, but just so the playing field is leveled, "muff" is slang for female genitalia. Gleaning the gayness therein might prove problematic.

Presuming, of course, that you meant the male version of same-sexery.

Cheers,
Steve

Sorry Muff, I'm 110% straight. I love too many women (especially white and latina women). I don't play on the gay side of the fence. :uhuhuh:

Yes, I love pie. But not in my face. 8)

But you on the other hand with your 10 inch tougue.....(just kidding, don't go politically correct with me now)! 8)

If only you'd come in around page 3, I could have the last ten minutes back of my life instead of reading through msr. vandam's mix of brainless, posturing, bad-faith twaddle. The point is tony, while other racial slurs are losing their effect because people don't use them to mean something "weak, garbage, pathetic, etc." you're saying that you mean homo to mean exactly something that is "weak, garbage, pathetic, etc." You see the problem now? idiot.
Well he didn't see it when I said it either. Guess he's being a real Tony :)

Congratulations on increasing the already amazing levels of idiocy. I'm going to hope, for the sake of all the people who have to actually interact with you, that you're just kidding.

That's pretty damn obvious. Logic seems to continually escape you. Strikingly so. Like I said before: obstinate stupidity.

First of all, your granny is an idiot.

Secondly, if you really read pages 3 to this page, you know damn go and well that Eric namecall me first (like you just did by calling me an idiot). :x

Yes, call him a Homo (as in weak, pathetic, etc.) were the wrong choice of words. But I'm not sorry for verbally defending myself...at all. 8)

You didn't answer the question....Eric namecall me first, but you don't call him out for his actions, but you're willing to call me out for how I response to that crap? :x

Like a few other, you making excuses for Eric.

At least YOU didn't call me an idiot like this crown did. :D

But nonetheless, I did understand you earlier and we both agree that I needed to start using better choice of words next time around.
