I find it incredibly difficult to get a useful automation curve using MU's pencil tool. Many other DAWs have a 'paint brush' allowing one to draw a curve vs. a line (i.e. Mu's Pencil). My woes are further exacerbated by the fact there's no 'convert event / parameter tweak to automation track' as discussed in this thread https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtop ... 9&t=524076. Now, you might say 'use an envelope' but that's not really the same thing either.Reincke wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2015 12:02 pm My very, very biggest wish for M7 is an extended "event graph editor" inside (!) the sequence editor, so we can choose for each parameter / controller eitherThat would give us at least this benefits:
- bar mode
- curve mode
- automation curve like in envelope editor
Some details would have to be concerned, e.g. what happens when switching from event to envelope mode.
- a coupling of note editor and automation curve editor
- the choice of editing parameter events either by bars or by (event) curve
What do you think?

Since an automation curve is simply a series of vertical bars (i.e. velocity) it seems like this should be a rather straight-forward implementation.
