Any problems with the site? How can we improve KVR?

Post

A few times recently I've tried to post pics and failed miserably.

I'd like to upload somewhere and then link here. Should be simple but it goes wrong every time. Any guidance welcome here.

It's been a while since I've done it, but posting the link with image tags -- [ img]link[/img ] except don't put that extra space in the brackets-- should do it.

Make sure you have a direct link to the image too - try to open the picture directly before getting the URL for it.

Post

Yep, just wanted to write the same. You need a direct link, otherwise pasting into the img tag won't do anything.

Thanks guys.

Where would you recommend uploading to?

I am talking about pics from Twitter, for example, that I have no idea how to share (no visible URL) so I downloaded and wanted to upload to a site before sharing here.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Attached images don’t appear in quoted posts though, only the original

This is a good site for hosting images on a one off basis:

https://imgbb.com/

You don’t even need to set up an account.

Of an image that is not already on the web...? Or one that doesn't expose its code like on Twitter..?
