Input Roland digital piano not enabled on Waveform

Hi,

I have just installed Waveform to record songs on my piano. But when connected, I can enable the output, but not the input.

Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Is there an error message that appears when you try to enable it?
On Windows, sometimes there are problems with trying to open the same device multiple times. Can you make sure you don't have any other apps with open connections to the piano.

Also, can you try disabling the output and then seeing if the input enables?
That would be useful to know.

I did have other apps open connecting to the piano, after closing the other app it solved the problem.

Great. Some MIDI devices provide multi-client drivers but you'll have to check with your manufacturer for that as I think they're device specific.
