Last time I asked this ended up in a heated discussion without any answers and it really ticked me off.
I am not able to fully delete unused audio files / trash audio files or whatever the feature is in M7 from my hdd resulting in a lot of bloat on my drive.
The only workaround is 1- open my project and 2- manual open the actual folder and delete everything in there (where the used files will not get deleted as they are locked).
Can I improve on this in M7?

There was a related bug fix in M8.0.70, see http://www.mutools.com/mulab-mux-change-log.html
So you could try the M8 demo and see if it all works fine for you and in that case you could evaluate upgrading to M8.
