I was just reading this, since his plates sound quite cool, and wondered if I could build something similar in Bitwig since I've been experimenting with modal and additive synthesis lately. But he's using hundreds of partials and calculations that I neither understand or would know how to implement in a modular system.

I would be very interested in a synth that could model this kind of complex nonlinear systems! With a good UI and sensible parameters this could be great also for experimental sounds. And any inharmonic sound can be made tonal just by moving or restricting the partials so that they conform to a/the harmonic series. So the line is really drawn in water.
