Hi all,
Hope you are doing well during this time of uncertainty.
I installed Waveform 11 on a MBP that is running the latest version of Mac OS.
Audio devices/interfaces are recognized but no audio coming in is registering on the meters or recording audio. This includes the built in microphone. Audio coming out however is fine (on both built in and external interfaces).
I tested this with multiple interfaces with both class compliant and proprietary drivers and am experiencing the same issue.
Other DAWs installed on the same computer don't have this issue.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue with Catalina or is it that I have been isolated for too long and it is now affecting my brain.
Note:
I uninstalled Waveform 11 and installed Waveform 9 and the issue remains.I don't have this issue with my other Mac with Mojave installed which leads me to believe that it is something to do with Catalina.
Thanks everyone!
Catalina 10.15.4 No Audio In

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone
Make sure Waveform is checked
Sometimes when you reinstall, update or move the App macOS gets confused. Uncheck and check again and it should work.
