I'm hoping for around 4 weeks after the 10.3 release, but that largely depends on no road-bumps along the way. But like most people, I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment and no where to go, which may help speed things along.UmFuFu wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2020 10:22 pm Thanks Colin. And good to hear.
This next beta won't include the factory 'presets' will it? Any ETA on that?
If there are anything in particular people want to see in the standard library, now's a good time to let me know. I've tried to include a good range of high-level processing and generative prefabs, but if anyone has any particular suggestions, I'm all ears.
As an aside, the library will only be compatible with 10.3 onwards, so won't work (properly) with earlier versions. I've refined some wiring methods to (massively) reduce the number of wires and modules needed. It's forwards compatible - so old presets will work, but not backwards compatible, so old versions won't support it.

One of the things that I would like to make in Loomer is a really feature rich midi delay with transposition and timing offset’s for each of the taps, so whatever components help to make that would be great!

Thanks for the suggestion. I've got a MIDI delay with transposition already, so I'll look intoUmFuFu wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2020 4:58 am One of the things that I would like to make in Loomer is a really feature rich midi delay with transposition and timing offset’s for each of the taps, so whatever components help to make that would be great!
adding individual taps - I reckon it's just a case of having multiple instances all feeding back, so it should be pretty trivial.

I want to convert piano roll edits in the piano roll into either executable code instead of a rW midi file, so the song becomes a vst that emits audio and midi

So that we have an idea of what has been made before suggesting anything can you please give a provisional list of the upcoming library preset modules?colin@loomer wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2020 8:04 amThanks for the suggestion. Yes, that makes sense. I'll sort through and collate what I have when I have a moment.fairlyclose wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:21 pm So that we have an idea of what has been made before suggesting anything can you please give a provisional list of the upcoming library preset modules?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here: could you clarify? Are you basically saying you want to be able to write MIDI to a device, then just use the device alone as a MIDI output?gminorcoles wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:39 pm I want to convert piano roll edits in the piano roll into either executable code instead of a rW midi file, so the song becomes a vst that emits audio and midi

Here is an idea - the GRM Tools Delay is quite neat and would make for a great midi delay or arpeggiator - I cant find any decent video to show off the interface for this plugin, but if you have it or I or someone else can find a video of the interface that is useful then I think it is pretty obvious how it is also a neat design for a midi delay/arpeggiator

That'd be great. I've not seen GRM Tools Delay before, and a quick google search (remarkably) didn't seem to turn up much in the way of clear images. If anyone does have a screenshot, that'd be much appreciated.fairlyclose wrote: Mon Apr 06, 2020 6:00 am Here is an idea - the GRM Tools Delay is quite neat and would make for a great midi delay or arpeggiator - I cant find any decent video to show off the interface for this plugin, but if you have it or I or someone else can find a video of the interface that is useful then I think it is pretty obvious how it is also a neat design for a midi delay/arpeggiator

You need to see a video working real time to understand it

Thanks: I'll see if there's a demo about, then, and try it for myself.
