I am such a sad bastard!
Glad that worked for you, Mark. I'm usually more comfortable making my own "artwork" after tracks are complete, but in this case it seemed to fit the album concept perfectly, so I went with it.

Personally, I would have liked a few more parts in the higher frequency ranges for at least some of the piece, but maybe they weren't appropriate here?
I decided to go "minimal" with this one, and the sense of disappointment seemed to preclude the appearance of "brighter" tones. Maybe I'm the sad bastard

Gotta love this forum. It is such a rich source of cultural enlightenment 8)

Thanks very much for taking the time to listen, and for the great comments, Mark :)

Well, sadness could be the wrong term for a description of this track. It evolves very slowly, so you have to get into it. An appealing piece of ambience, eventually. :tu: :phones:
Sadness, disappointment, anger would all be suitable emotions relating to the events depicted in the painting.

Glad you're still enjoying this one :D

Yet you chose to stick with the simplicity (devious that may be) underscoring the depth of that brooding and chilled sensation. And in kepping it simple you accomplished what oft is strived for, but rarely found.
Very very good. Here’s to also starting new stuff (which also gets finished).

Do nudge when the 4-track is complete. I’d love a full listen.
Thanks very much for listening, and for the great comments, Mark.

Devious music could be a great album title.
