PatchWork Synth /Click-It Master i/o problem

Hi,
I have a problem with Click-It Master - a free VST click.- (This click detects the daw internal tempo and it has 3 samples to play the click sounds.)
When inserting it on PatchWork synth mono track on an Audio track or on an instrument track I get no sound. When setting the Track input to input 1 I can get it work for a while - but that is not reasonable to put an instrument track to one of the inputs..
I checked it both on Windows 10 Pro Tools HD V.12.5 and on Mac OS 10.13.6 Pro Tools V. 2020.3
I have been useing PatchWork synth a lot for many VST VI's without any problem for years but
I could not find any solution to this little VST Clickit Master problem.
Any idea??

This is probably a bug with the plug-in. If I remember well it was programmed with Plug'n Script and it is open source, so there is maybe a way to fix it.
