I was messing about with adding multiple TurboDelays in series to a single lane in MSF. Each time I added one, I would hit the dice randomizer to change the settings and then add another instance. I then began moving the TurboDelays up and down the chain and something interesting happened, it no longer required an input.
If you choose to try this out, be aware that the levels change quickly and that it begins to make sound right away!

Well, I'd likely that some of these utilize a noise generator for example, just a little of it. Then the rest of them start amplyfing the filtered version of it, plus resonating filters etc. Just guessing :)
