Or, where's the (any) current tutorial on how to connect MIDI CCs to ANY Melda plugin's Easy Screen controls?

The only one I could find (amongst the Melda site's tutorials) was many years old and only covered controls in what's now called Edit mode, and featured panel elements that are now long gone.

Thanks!

Have a look at Supersaw. Here is what I see:

-- I have mapped some of the "Main Controllers" to my own hardware MIDI controller; yours may well be different (or just the default)
-- In the Controllers tab, you will see that MIDI CC# 7 and then 8 of the Main Controllers (Main 1 to Main 8 ) are mapped to Easy screen (Multi)parameters, Param 233, Param 1 etc

Now let's add another one:

  1. for the Easy Screen parameter to be controlled
  2. find out its Multiparameter (MP) number (I just Ctrl_Alt_click the Easy screen control to open the MP Editor)
  3. in MIDI Settings / Controllers, double-click an empty slot
  4. and select the target parameter
  5. select or Learn the MIDI CC#
  6. set the Range mode and values as desired

Perfect, thanks for taking so much time to make this clear!

It took longer to type than to do.

I bet—MUCH appreciated. Most forum 'help" is painfully truncated and rarely illustrated:)

In the first image, where do you see any ref to CC 8?

Post

It is not CC 8. I meant CC#007 and then 8 Main controllers (Main 1 to Main 8 )

Ah, of course; language precise, brains unpredictable:)

Just noticed you can also Ctrl-Alt right-click (Ctrl-Opt-Command-Click, on a Mac) on an MP Easy Screen control and get a cool drop-down menu that starts off with Attach MIDI Controller, which is about as direct as right-clicking a non-Melda device control and seeing MIDI Learn:) Progress!
