Swap Zebra 2 for DIVA

I ran across someone on Facebook who is looking to trade his Zebra 2 license for a DIVA license.

Although I love DIVA a great deal I used to own Zebra 2 and would love to get it back.

I'm not sure the trade is fair for him though. Should I feel guilty for trading my DIVA for his Zebra 2 ?

Does it seem like a fair trade for him ? I wish I could just buy Zebra 2 outright again but due to the current financial climate can't justify the purchase at this time.

I saw that post.
the difference is 20€, and you can get Zebra2 for 149€ with the dinosaur discount if you have 15minutes to spare and f**k around. (in that case difference is 30€ in the other way!)

They go for about the same price on the KVR market i think...

imo, go for it, it's a balanced exchange, i don't see an issue here or any reason to feel guilty.

You'll both be happier to get what you want faster and create in this lock-down crisis.

i also wouldn't value one above the other in practice, what diva lacks in flexibility it more than delivers in sheer joyful sound quality.

Happy i have both.

Thanks for your opinion. I owned Zebra 2 in the past and for some inexplicable reason sold it a few years ago.

I dropped a bunch of patches for Zebra here after I sold it but can't seem to find them now.

I love DIVA a great deal but it's more a part of my collection than it is a part of my working arsenal. Great fun to play and program but rarely makes it into a project.

Hive 2 on the other hand makes it into every project and usually multiple instances.

Hive makes it into every project here as well.
Diva... I've had to learn to love Diva. I loved Repro, and I even loved Bazille.
For some reason Diva didn't click with me. But recently i've been playing with it a bit more and it's slowly been creeping into my every project. Don't use repro that much anymore
