disable loop == disable clip length

I was working on a track last night using a drum loop and experienced something a bit strange:
1) Imported clip to track with 'A' key.
2) Alt+drag clip to snap to bar length.
3) Clicked loop x32.
4) Realize I need a different number of measures than loop allows. (would love to be able to loop with some commad key-drag combo)
5) Click disable loop.
What I get is the original loop still scaled (from a time perspective) to a bar in my project. However, the end of the loop is set to the original length of the sample, so I have to "pull" the right edge of the loop to the end of the measure.
This happened with 1.6.0.1 on PC... haven'y had time to check Mac. Is anyone else seeing this? It's annoying, but at least there's a work around.
Another Q: Is there a proper place to submit bugs?
Thanks.

You realise that looped audio can be snipped & edited just like a long take..?jamesridge wrote:

I can also confirm the original observation, but never considered it a big deal..

Yep, it was always there but I have to second Greg's opinion that it's not a big deal.
I wouldn't call it 'a bug'.

My main point in this post is to hopefully identify the process for submitting and tracking resolution of bugs, not to define the severity of this bug. Although, I appreciate the additional workaround provided.
