Recorded and mixed in Reaper.
I use my Ibanez Electric Guitar, with Pedals and Guitar Rig, the Infinite Pads App for Android and some Nature Sounds.

Nice ambient track. Like the nature sounds. Were they from a collection? Is that you in the video? What Guitar Rig FX did you use? Sorry for all the questions.

Yep, this is lovely. Superb sounding atmosphere. I want to do something like this with my brother in law. He's pretty good with the guitar. Nice work!

The nature sounds where from an Android app, there are numerous apps which have such nature sounds and similar ambiences.

Yes that is me in the video.

My Guitar chain in this case was a Harley Benton Compressor Pedal, Harley Benton Vintage Overdrive Pedal and a Donner Passive Volume Pedal. I then went into Guitar Rig 5 through my Audio interface, where I was using the Rammfire Amp (plus matched Cabinet) with vintage mode and very little Gain. I used Electric Lady after that in Guitar Rig.
After that I used a Delay Effect (not sure which anymore) with long settings and Valhalla Vintageverb.
For playing, I also used an E-Bow for most of the tones, as seen in the video.

That was very enjoyable. The combination of guitar/pad/samples was a winner, in my opinion. I really liked the guitar tone. Those HB pedals sound very good, and are very reasonably priced.

Sounds awesome, great job blending tones. I’m new to ambient music. When producing music like this, is there a structure of some kind that I’m supposed to hear? There doesn’t seem to be, other than stagger the sounds in at the beginning. After that it seems like it could just go on forever, with the sounds/noises changing ever so slightly. Is there a predetermined, relatively standard ambient song length that ambient musicians adhere to? Or are you hearing, and thinking in terms of intro, verse, chorus, outro, etc?

I will ty to answer as good as I an. I am looking for a way to make sounds, without using some of the musical structures I had been using for 30 years.
This piece has a structure in the form of 'oh, this drone is now going 5 minutes, maybe come to an end at some point'.
Other than that I just play an improvisation on guitar. For now, I enjoy enormously to leave usual structures like BPM, rhythm or measures out of the musical picture. It's relatively new ground for me, though.
